This course will provide the foundation to prepare those who want to move on to the Yiddish for intermediate course. Using a variety of materials\, we will cover basic Yiddish language rules\, read texts and complete practice exercises as a group. Students will be expected to complete supplemental practice exercises at home with the goal of reinforcing the in-person learnings.
