Mother’s Day Concert with Mazel

Come join us for some of your, your mother’s, and your bube’s favorite music reimagined! Mazel is the pandemic product of a wonderful collaborative venture between two legendary jazz musicians and a cantor from New York. A collection of Yiddish and Yiddish-composed (English lyric) classics, Mazel seeks to re-interpret these evocative works through Jazz, Latin, and traditional lenses. Come join us for a discussion of how the project came to be, listen to tracks from the album, and take an opportunity to interact with the artists!
