About Miriam Libhaber

Miriam Libhaber, a Mexican Architect and holder of a BA in Fine Arts from UNAM/Mexico, is renowned for her distinctive style that is defined by a deep appreciation for architecture, Mexican culture, and Yiddishkeit. Born Miriam Tabachnik Edelsztejn, she was the first generation of her family born in Mexico City, with her parents being Polish Holocaust survivors. Although born in Mexico, she grew up in a Yiddish-speaking household. Over the years, She has earned considerable recognition, having showcased her art in 30 individual exhibitions and over 200 collective shows. Notably, she was even awarded a painting Biennale in Caracas, Venezuela! Recently, in 2022, Miriam decided to relocate to San Diego, where her captivating artwork is exhibited at the Yiddishland art gallery.
