Amelia Glaser is a Professor of Literature at UC San Diego and a scholar of Yiddish, Ukrainian, and Russian literature. She holds a chair in Judaic Studies and is the author of, among other things, Songs in Dark Times: Yiddish Poetry of Struggle from Scottsboro to Palestine (Harvard UP, 2020). She is currently writing a book about contemporary Ukrainian poetry.
