At Yiddishland California, we are proud to offer a variety of upcoming events and classes designed to celebrate Yiddish culture, history, and creativity. Our programs bring together community members of all ages to learn, share, and connect. Whether you are new to Yiddish or already fluent, there is something here for you.

One of our highlights this season is the interactive lecture with art historian Jennifer Stern, titled Rembrandt and the Jews: An Interactive Exploration. This session will take place online on Sunday, October 5, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. PT on Zoom. Participants will explore how Rembrandt depicted Jewish life in Amsterdam, and how his art offers timeless insight into history and identity.

In addition to lectures, we also host language and cultural classes throughout the year. Our offerings include:

• Yiddish Classes: Learn the fundamentals of Yiddish language and culture.
• Yoga in Yiddish: A unique way to combine mindfulness and movement while practicing the Yiddish language.
• Ladino Classes: Discover the beauty of Ladino, the Judeo-Spanish language, and its cultural traditions.
• Hebrew Classes: Build your Hebrew language skills with expert instructors.
