Verbs are probably the trickiest part of speech in Yiddish. Apart from three times, each of them having its own peculiarities, there are in/separable prefixes (arayngeyn – ikh gey arayn), participles (the ones that end with -dik but not just they), and such a unique thing as verb aspects.
When you know all the possibilities of the Yiddish verbs, you can significantly enrich your speaking and writing skills. This knowledge opens doors for a better understanding of classical Yiddish literature.
The workshop will help you organize all the information about the verbs. We will move from the basics to more complicated and advanced topics.
